These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Life in the UK Test app (the “App”) operated by TECHNERA LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The Service

The App provides practice questions, study guides, and progress tracking to help users prepare for the Life in the UK citizenship test. It is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Home Office or UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your Account

You are responsible for:

Keeping your password secure
All activity that occurs under your account
Providing an accurate email address

You must notify us immediately at official@techneraltd.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App or its content
Use automated tools to scrape or extract question data
Impersonate another person or entity

Question Content Disclaimer

The practice questions in the App are based on publicly available study materials and practice tests. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that questions reflect the exact content of the official Life in the UK test. The official test is administered by UKVI and only official study materials from the Home Office should be treated as definitive.

We accept no liability for a failed test result.

Intellectual Property

All app content, design, and code is owned by TECHNERA LIMITED or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TECHNERA LIMITED shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the App
Loss of data, revenue, or opportunity
Inaccuracies in practice question content
Service interruptions or downtime

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you have not paid anything, our liability is limited to £50.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at official@techneraltd.com.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
